UGGC & Associés advises CM-CIC Capital Privé for the private equity investment to Amplitude Group
AMPLITUDE GROUP has new shareholders – investment funds managed by CM-CIC Capital Privé and SCR Aquitaine Création Investissement (ACI), as part of a € 3 million financial package.

AMPLITUDE GROUP is specializing in the field of femtosecond solid state lasers, developing innovative solutions in the field of high power lasers, for scientific, industrial and medical applications.

By increasing its equity, AMPLITUDE GROUP will be able to continue its development, particularly its international development, including its presence in the US, and will also be able to maintain its Research & Development drive.

Since it was created, AMPLITUDE GROUP has managed to combine strong growth with high profitability, thanks to its technological expertise and the quality it offers.

According to Stéphane Pesqué of CM-CIC Capital Privé, leader of this transaction: “Technologically speaking, Amplitude is a true leader worldwide in the field of femtosecond laser technology, and it is also headed by an experienced management team which should enable it to successfully carry through out an ambitious development programme”.

Marie-Cécile Trillaud of ACI adds: “beyond these undeniable advantages and potentials, our investment fits in with the regional and national logics of the “laser optics” polearea, of which AMPLITUDE GROUP’S founding members are significant contributors”.

Gilles Riboulet, Chairman of Amplitude Technologies, explains: “For several years now femtosecond lasers and their applications have been developing fast. The operation carried out in cooperation with CICCM and ACI will allow AMPLITUDE GROUP to confirm its position as world leader in this field”.

Eric Mottay, Chairman of Amplitude Systèmes, concludes: “The partnership with CM-CIC Capital Privé and Aquitaine Création Investissement will enable us to carry on with and accelerate our international development, and will significantly increase our Research & Development potential”.

This operation was supervised by Stéphane Pesqué, for CM-CIC Capital Privé and Marie-Cécile Trillaud for AQUITAINE CRÉATION INVESTISSEMENT.

Financial audits were carried out by Martin Fischbach of IDF Expertise et Conseil and the intellectual property audit by Pierre Bresse of BREESE DERAMBURE MAJEROWICZ.
