UGGC & Associés, counsel to MarocInvest/Ismawood Consortium for their takeover of Manorbois

MarocInvest investment fund formed an alliance with Ismawood, one of the main wood distributors in Morocco, to acquire control over Manorbois, a subsidiary of CFAO (PPR group), a company also considered as a wood distribution leader in Morocco. The new majority group wants to enhance synergies between Ismawood and Manorbois, both companies holding together 20% of the wood market in Morocco. CFAO retains a minority interest in Manorbois. The MarocInvest/Ismawood consortium was advised by Patrick Larrivé, partner and coordinator of UGGC & Associés law firm Casablanca office and their activities in the MENA area, together with Samuel Schmidt and Laila Mghazli, associates. Pierre-Henri Legrand, legal manager, and Bertrand Mailhebiau, financial transactions manager, were in charge of the transaction at CFAO.
