UGGC & Associés legal counsel to the Philharmonie de Paris
“Philharmonie de Paris”, an association receiving financial support from the State and the City of Paris, and in charge, in particular, of developing a new 2,400 seat concert hall that will be built on the La Villette park site, has appointed architect Jean Nouvel as designer and manager of this great project.

This appointment follows an international architecture competition during which six competitors had been selected following an offer to tender.

At the closing stage of this competition, the jury, co-presided by the Minister in charge of culture and communication, Mr Donnedieu de Vabres, and the Mayor of Paris, Mr Delanoë, and consisting of architects and musicians, has assessed the six projects and awarded first place to the one submitted by “Atelier Jean Nouvel”. Following the jury’s advice, the “Philharmonie de Paris” Association has designated this architect as the winner of the competition.

UGGC & ASSOCIÉS (Thierry Dal Farra, partner, and Franck Lepron, associate) were advising the “Philharmonie de Paris” Association for the institutional setting-up of the project, drafting of public tender documents and follow-up of the international competition.
