Private assets
The Private Client department assists clients in their purchase, maintenance and sale of private assets such as residential properties, aircraft and sea going vessels for pleasure or service. In these areas, the department accompanies its private clientele during negotiations and in drawing up the relevant legal documents, in their business with solicitors, as well as architects and experts in each specific domain.
The Private Client department proposes and drafts the appropriate structure for managing these assets. When necessary, the department, in liaison with the Labour law department, handles all legal aspects connected to these assets, such as private staff hired for the management, maintenance and service, necessary for the operation of these assets.
Furthermore, the Private Client department has recognised expertise in Art law, in all legal, fiscal and customs areas, as well as handling litigation, particularly in cases concerning ownership origin or ownership of works, its transfer, disposal against payment or not and its transfer through inheritance or otherwise.
In these areas, the Private Client department assists its clients directly or through their family office or advisors.
