Trust, fiducies and family foundations

The development of Trust law and Fiduciary law (particularly the latter since the introduction of fiduciary law in the French Civil Code), as well as the increased demand to use these tools to set up fiduciary trusts or division of property rights specific to Trust law, to the benefit of natural persons or legal entities, have all led the Private Client department to develop over the last few years recognised expertise in this complex area.

The Private Client department advises natural persons or legal entities that act as settlers or trustees, beneficiaries or protectors. It also counsels family offices, bankers, private insurers and finally, in the areas of “business trusts” and trusts, entrepreneurs.

The Private Client department also practices in the Family Foundation area, either as counsel to founders, or to the entities themselves, or on behalf of their beneficiaries.
