UGGC Avocats advised Eternam on the acquisition of the Courtyard Hotel in Paris Arcueil (75)

October 12, 2022 – UGGC Avocats, one of France’s leading independent law firms and a multi-disciplinary business law firm, has advised real estate investor, Eternam, in the acquisition of the Courtyard Hotel in Paris by the latter and EQ Group.

This is the first time that these two real estate players have made a joint hotel acquisition.

The Courtyard Hotel in Paris Arcueil (75) is a four star hotel with 170 rooms operated by the Marriott Group.

UGGC Avocats was involved in the corporate, real estate and hotel aspects through David Gordon-Krief (partner), Camille Hévin (associate) and Paul Grandet (associate).

The firm also intervened on the regulatory aspects with Charles-Emmanuel Prieur (partner) and Laura Malach (consultant).

For its part, Gide, through Nadège Nguyen and Hugues Moreau (partners) advised the buyers on this transaction, with a multidisciplinary team composed of : Morgan Maréchal and Camille Burg (associates) on the corporate aspects; Sibylle Chomel de Varagnes (associate) on the hotel and real estate aspects; Aurélien de Castéja, (counsel), and Margaux Lefebvre (associate) on the setting up of the financing.

Cazals-Mancho-Pichot-Saint Quentin also acted on behalf of the purchaser through Maxence Manzo, Xavier Colard (partners) and Jenny-Emma Haure (associate).
