UGGC Avocats assisted BPIFrance Investissement in the context of its LBO

UGGC Avocats, a French multidisciplinary law firm and one of the leading independent law firms in France, is assisting Bpifrance Investissement in its acquisition of a stake in the HASAP group as part of its LBO (Leverage Buy-Out) of the service sector.

Bpifrance Investissement’s Wood and eco-materials fund is investing in the high-end joinery and interior design group. Crédit Mutuel Equity, a long-time investor and fellow traveler of the Hasap Group since its creation in 2006, is reinvesting alongside Bpifrance Investissement.

HASAP is one of the most important French companies in the interior design market. With the financial support of Bpifrance Investissement, the company wishes to modernize its facilities and reinforce its production capacities. HASAP has complex projects that require strong technical skills.

The UGGC Avocats team that accompanied Bpifrance Investissement is composed of Charles-Emmanuel Prieur (partner), Laura Malach (attorney of Counsel), Rebecca El-Hakim (attorney) and Laurie Durand (attorney).

Crédit Mutuel Equity and HASAP Group were advised by Duteil Avocats (David Merlet) and Albers Avocats (Suzanne Decobecq), respectively.
