UGGC Law Firm advised ISATIS Capital in its entry in the capital of FATEC Group

Paris, January 11, 2021 – UGGC, a leading business law firm, assisted ISATIS Capital in acquiring a minority stake, alongside BPI France Investissement, in the capital of FATEC Group.

Founded in 1993, FATEC Group has become, under the impetus of Théophane Courau, President since 2013, the first independent player in France able to address all the challenges inherent in the management of corporate and local authority vehicle fleets. Capitalizing on more than 125 employees, based in Marseille and a national implantation via its partners network, FATEC has managed to build a privileged relationship with the actors of the CAC 40 and the public market.

Resolutely focused on societal and environmental issues, as illustrated by the award of the Empl’itude label, the FATEC Group aims to become one of the key players in green mobility. The Group intends to be able to propose a complete offer in order to ensure the transition of the vehicle fleet to electric power.

Isatis Capital and Bpifrance are thus committed to supporting FATEC Group in its development plan aiming at strong organic growth thanks to its digital offer and an external growth plan to reinforce its international footprint.

Created in 2013, ISATIS Capital is an independent management company that invests in the capital of profitable, growing SME-SMIs and supports them on a long-term basis. With 18 years of experience, the ISATIS Capital team currently manages more than 430 million euros through Professional Private Equity Funds dedicated to institutional clients, FIPs and FCPIs distributed in private banks and wealth management advisors.

Bpifrance finances companies – at every stage of their development – in credit, guarantees and equity. Bpifrance’s equity investments are made by Bpifrance Investissement.

Yves Mondellini, partner at UGGC, assisted ISATIS Capital in this transaction.
