UGGC Avocats advises Bpifrance Amorçage Industriel in raising €3 million for Yumgo
Paris, June 27, 2024 – UGGC Avocats, one of France’s leading independent law firms and a multi-disciplinary business law firm, acted as counsel to Bpifrance, investor in foodtech Yumgo’s fundraising round.
French startup Yumgo has announced that it has raised €3 million from Bpifrance Amorçage Industriel, Blast. Club, 50 Partners and several leading business angels.
Created in 2019 by Mr. Rodolphe Landemaine, founder of the Maison Landemaine bakery-pastry network and the Land&Monkeys plant-based bakery-pastry chain, and Mrs. Anne Vincent, Tamago Food produces a complete range of egg substitutes under the Yumgo brand. Yumgo’s mission is to provide professionals with the solution to replace eggs and accelerate the creation of sweet and savory plant-based recipes.
With this round of financing, Yumgo aims to become the European leader in plant-based alternatives to eggs.
Accompanied by UGGC Avocats, the Bpifrance Amorçage Industriel fund aims to support France’s drive to reindustrialize through innovation. Created in 2023 and endowed with €50 million, it invests directly in French start-ups and industrial SMEs in all sectors developing incremental innovations with rapid development potential.
