Founded in 1981, Interlaw brings together law firms from all over the world. The association is present in 150 cities, 86 countries and the world’s major economic zones, covering every continent.
Union Internationale des Avocats
The Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) brings together over 2,000 individual members and 200 bars, federations and associations in more than 110 countries.
Since 1971, the UIA has enjoyed special consultative status as a non-governmental organization (NGO) with the United Nations and the Council of Europe. It is represented at the main headquarters of the United Nations (New York, Geneva and Vienna).
Jean-Jacques Uettwiller was elected UIA President in 2015.
International Bar Association – IBA
Founded in 1947, the IBA aims to support the development of law and the administration of justice worldwide.
Since its creation, 55,000 lawyers and 206 bar associations and federations around the world have joined the IBA.
