A look back at the MEDEF morning session – Public participation after the Green Industry Act
On September 11, the Mouvement des Entreprises de France brought together project developers, public authorities, elected representatives, civil society and experts to discuss a central issue: environmental consultation and the acceptability of industrial projects.
UGGC Avocats is delighted to have contributed to this event through the contribution of partner Carine Le Roy-Gleizes, who led the discussions and offered an overview of the major issues involved in public participation.
Our warmest thanks go to MEDEF for its organization, and to all the speakers and participants for the richness of the debates:
– The contributions and challenges of public debate (CNDP)
– The role of investigating commissioners
– The expectations of government and civil society
– Practical tools for transforming participation into a lever for project success
These collective reflections pave the way for a better articulation between industrial development and citizen dialogue, one year after the Green Industry Act came into force.
