Presentation

With a wealth of experience spanning more than twenty years, she advises French and international companies as well as public entities on complex issues of regulatory compliance, litigation management and environmental strategy. Her expertise covers a wide range of fields, from project support (industrial, mining/extractive, decarbonization, renewable energies), implementation of industrial environmental law (ICPE), water law, waste law, management and reconversion of polluted sites and soils, and biodiversity issues.

Very active in the field of ecological and energy transition, Carine Le Roy-Gleizes regularly contributes to discussions on the evolution of environmental law, notably within the Medef working group, and took part in drafting the white paper “40 propositions pour moderniser et simplifier le droit de l’environnement” (“40 proposals to modernize and simplify environmental law”). She teaches at the Centre de Formation de Droit de l’Environnement, BRGM and the École des Mines de Douai, and is a member of several scientific committees and think tanks. Her expertise is particularly well recognized by leading French and Anglo-Saxon guides (Chambers, Legal 500, Best Lawyers, Décideurs).
