Major real estate projects

For several years, UGGC Avocats has been a benchmark in the monitoring of major real estate projects, and has been involved in a number of complex development and real estate operations (urban restructuring projects, concerted development zones, logistics zones, etc.).

Expertise

Real estate law

Comprehensive support

The Real Estate Law team supports its customers, both private and public sector clients, from the initial stages of a real estate project – by studying the legal, regulatory, contractual and tax constraints of the operation – through to its successful completion and, where necessary, litigation.

The firm advises its customers on the national and local legislation and regulations applicable to their projects, and is regularly involved upstream of applications for planning permission (development permits, building permits, demolition permits, prior declarations, etc.), auditing applications before they are submitted.

UGGC Avocats is also involved in defining and implementing the contractual arrangements required to complete and enhance the value of the project, particularly in complex projects involving several builders or mixed-use private and public structures: VEFA (sale before completion) contracts, project management contracts, public domain occupation contracts, volume divisions, etc.

The Real Estate team has particular experience in managing litigation brought against real estate transactions by third parties, as well as litigation against refusals of planning permission.
