Who am I?

I joined the office of UGGC Avocats in Shanghai in 2012 as a partner after practising Chinese law for 19 years in a French international law firm in Paris and in China (Beijing and Shanghai).

UGGC and I

The office of UGGC Avocats in Shanghai is one of the most performing on the Chinese market, with a great, competent bi-cultural team specialized in the various domains of Chinese business law.  Thanks to the entrepreneurial, innovative and collective spirit of the team, we can provide to our clients appropriate and efficient services, advice and solutions for the installation and development of their businesses in China. The relaxed but dynamic ambiance gives pleasure in working together each and every day.

My practice

Most of my activity consists of assisting French or European companies with their investments and installation in China, including in particular direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, company restructurings.

I am also involved in the legal follow-up of companies operating in China, dealing with tax issues, issues of labour law, commercial agreements and the settlement of disputes.

In addition, as I am specialist in intellectual property law which is often a major asset for companies operating in China, I am often consulted by clients in the luxury or other business about their intellectual property strategy in China, on the registration of trademarks, designs and models, licence or transfer agreements, etc.

Finally, I also assist Chinese companies with their projects in France or in other countries.
