UGGC on the international scene: Participation in AIJA in Washington D.C.

We are delighted to announce the participation of UGGC partner Marine Simonnot at the 63rd International Young Lawyers’ Congress organized by AIJA in Washington D.C.

On August 27, Marine will be taking part in a major session dedicated to the latest developments in the recognition of foreign insolvency proceedings. This panel of experts will address, in particular:

• The main obstacles and pitfalls of international legal recognition,
• Strategic tools for practitioners to maximize asset recovery,
• The use of the recognition of a foreign insolvency proceeding to initiate legal action in the jurisdiction that recognizes the proceeding.
