Regulation on foreign subsidies distorting the internal market: what you need to know on the eve of its application

Intended to fill a gap in European Union law, which to date only governs aid granted to companies by Member States, this regulation now enables the European Commission to investigate distortions caused by subsidies from third countries, and to take measures to remedy them.
