UGGC Avocats advises Holcim Investments (France) on the acquisition of the Alkern Group

Paris, June 3, 2025 - UGGC Avocats has advised Holcim Investments (France) on the acquisition of the Alkern group, a major industrial player in the prefabrication of concrete elements, from Chequers Capital (majority shareholder) and other minority shareholders. Completion of the transaction is subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.

The Holcim Group is present in France through its subsidiary Holcim France, which includes Lafarge France, headquartered in Issy-les-Moulineaux (92), for cement, concrete and aggregates, and PRB, in La Mothe-Achard (85), for building coatings.

The Alkern Group is a French leader in the prefabrication of concrete elements for low-carbon building methods, offering sustainable urban development solutions, with the ability to infiltrate surface water, and offering products to enhance outdoor spaces (gardens, swimming pools, roads).
