UGGC Avocats advises the Paralloy group on the takeover of the Manoir Industries metallurgical group

UGGC - Manoir industries June 24, 2024 – UGGC Avocats has advised Paralloy Group in its takeover of Manoir Industries, based in Pîtres (Eure). The takeover of Manoir Industries and Manoir Pîtres by British industrial group Paralloy was approved on Thursday June 20, 2024 by the Paris Commercial Court. The future of the Pîtres foundry, which generated sales of €86,000,000 in the last financial year, had been at stake since Manoir Industries and Manoir Pîtres went into receivership on March 25. The Manoir Industries group, a French flagship in special steels based in Pîtres for over 100 years, specializes in metal processing and the manufacture of high-performance metal parts for a wide range of industrial sectors. Renowned for its technical expertise, it serves strategic markets in the petrochemical, nuclear and defense industries. Paralloy’s offer, which preserves more than 480 jobs, including over 420 in Pîtres and 60 in Burton (England), was supported by the French government (Délégation Interministérielle aux Restructurations d’Entreprises), the Normandy Region and EDF.
