UGGC Avocats assists RedTree Capital in the acquisition of Hotel Scipion
UGGC Avocats assisted RedTree Capital in the acquisition of the Hôtel Scipion, a historic and emblematic asset located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. This transaction, finalized on December 20, 2024, marks the first investment of RedTree Capital's second discretionary fund, launched in July 2024. The Hotel Scipion, acquired from GDG Investissements, is fully in line with our client's strategy of diversifying and enhancing the value of quality assets.
Built in 1565, the hotel has recently undergone an ambitious transformation by the Wilmotte & Associés and Pierre Antoine Gatier agencies. Now refurbished as a 7,500 m² mixed-use campus dedicated to higher education, it houses modern classrooms, collaborative work spaces, a student residence and numerous services. The second phase, representing an additional 900 m², will be delivered at the start of the 2025 academic year.
